MODELING

The objective of the Modeling curriculum is to help students create high level models and be a part of the Next Gen Gaming Cinematics and the Motion Picture Industry. The course covers modeling for film, on both organic and hard surfaces. For those interested in low poly Games modeling – we recommend studying detailed Film modeling first. We cover games specific lessons during the duration of the course that will help you build a custom portfolio for gaming work.

A few of the classes offered are:

MA 101 Modeling for film: An introduction
MA 201 Modeling for film: Hard Surface Modeling
MA 301 Modeling for film: Digital Sculpture I
MA 401 Modeling for film – Digital Sculpture II

Students take clay sculpture and study aesthetic anatomy in detail along side learning the tools of the trade required to become successful modelers.
