LIGHT & SHADE
The curriculum provides exposure to the magic of lighting. Lighters will be able to appreciate the role of the DOP in the motion picture industry. Through lectures, demonstrations and continuous assignments, students will learn real life lighting techniques and well as animation specific techniques. Courses offered are basic, intermediate and advanced in level. Each module runs for 12 weeks.
Classes include:
LS 101 Light & Shade : An introduction
LS 102 Light & Shade: Intermediate level
LS 103 Light & Shade : Advanced level
Focused learning happens simultaneously on Color, Texture, Composition, Design concepts while enable the student to have all the tool of the trade to become a successful texture artist/ Lighting artist/ Art director in the animation and visual effects industry. Student also take theatrical lighting courses to have hands on experience using real lights.
