For the first time in India,
students can choose their area of specialization in animation.
Takshaa offers a range of courses and students can choose the
course they want. Admissions to the basic courses are open to
all but direct entry to intermediate and advanced courses requires
a minimum B- in the preceding class or a portfolio review.
The Foundation Studies program:
A one year long programme with entry-level for admission being
a minimum 12th std. pass. Students undergoing the Foundation
Studies programme will not only work on modules in Art and Computer
Graphics, but also have modules and sessions on Theatre, Humanities,
Design History and the like prior to opting for their specialization
towards the end of the third and final semester.
The Core Specialization program:
Also a one year programme and is offered in
Apart from the core models in the respective fields of specialization,
students will also take lessons in Design concepts, Advanced
Lighting Concepts, Aesthetic Anatomy and Professional practices.
In all, the programme has been designed bearing in mind the
expectations of the industry and the maximizing of individual
potential
Each academic year contains required studio and theoretical
courses which will serve as core curriculum. Enhancing these
core studies will be the elective courses, to help students
experiment in multiple areas of interest.
Weekend/Part-time Classes:
Takshaa also offers weekend and part time programmes in selected
modules, details of which will be furnished on request. |
