One of the strengths
of Takshaa is that students are counseled to choose the classes
they have higher potential in and aptitude for. While the basic
courses are open to all, admissions to intermediate classes
and advanced classes is by portfolio review.
Application
process
How to apply: Students may apply online by downloading
the admission
form from the site or getting in touch with admissions@takshaa.com
Students may also apply in person by contacting the Admissions
Director at Takshaa.
Enrolment: Students can enroll
at any of the following levels: Foundation Studies, Specialization,
Weekend programs. Entry to Foundation Programme is open to all
students. However, entry to Intermediate and advanced Level
is only by portfolio review by the Course Director.
Direct entry to the Core Specialization programs would require
students who have completed their graduation or diploma in any
discipline or students who have coursed through at least two
years of the degree programme. In-service professionals from
similar or related disciplines and having 10 + 2 will also meet
the minimum standards of entry. Long standing professionals
from any discipline with a genuine passion for design and communication
will also meet the minimum standards of entry.
Schedule: Annual intake is
between January-February, May-June & September-October.

Fees: At Takshaa students
pay a one time admission fee and then pay only for the course
they wish to choose. The classes are of 3 months duration, on
specific days. The costs are comparable to any other institution.
Bank loans may be taken by the student on their own responsibility
though Takshaa will provide all necessary paperwork.
Payments: Payments are due
before the commencement of the classes. Those permitted to opt
for the installment mode, will be charged Rs. 2,500/- extra
as a processing fee, every semester. Payments made after the
scheduled dates will attract a penalty as applicable. |
